why so long for customer service contact

i have an enquiry open with customer services

 

it has been over 7 days since I had a response

 

is this usual

  Seems like they pick and choose what they respond to. I have one still open from 7 days ago with no response but raised a new one 2 days ago and that was responded yesterday.
