Filter Jobs - Block users
I've noticed certain buyers who have posted several jobs are unrealistic and offensive. I'd rather not stumble across their postings as they tend to put me in a pissy mood.
Other postings originate from certain countries that have a different scale of economy and therefore feel that $$$ means $10 - $20. I'd rather just filter out all those countries in my profile so I'm not wasting time reading them. After all, I'm from the US and they'll never hire me for political reasons so it would be doing us both a favor.
To recap. Could you please make a feature that allows me to block by user name, and block by country.

I'm just bumping this one as it's become relevant again in the past few weeks. Here are reasons it would be useful:
1) Abusive clients/freelancers would no longer appear in searches, and any previous workstreams would be locked to further messages from either side.
2) Clients/freelancers could filter jobs by territory effectively so that the "you want what for WHAT? Are you KIDDING me?" clarification messages become fewer and everyone's blood pressure benefits.
3) I could avoid situations like today where I've had several algorithm-fuelled invitations to jobs that, whilst at my price level and within my niche, are posted by a client who will never, ever accept my proposal over anyone else's for reasons too dull and possibly inflammatory to go into here.
Make these features user-defined rather than anything the Helpdesk has to get onto, and then it's entirely up to clients/freelancers whether they choose to block/unblock.
