    Hello Fatima

    Thank you for your email.

When information is posted on any website, or in this case a profile is created on PeoplePerHour, the publicly viewable information is available for search engines such as Google to index and surface in their search pages. The profile information for deactivated accounts on PPH is not available for Google nor other search engines to index as soon as they are deactivated. However, it can take time (we believe it is anything from hours or days) for Google to re-check websites for changes (known as re-crawling) and update their indexing and this is entirely out of our control.

Therefore if you have still found details from your deactivated PPH profile in Google this will have almost certainly be because Google have not yet updated their indexing of PPH. However you should find that the link to your profile page in the search results does not work, because it is no longer available on our site.

If you would prefer not to wait any longer for Google to update their pages you can send a direct request to them to remove your details from their search results at the following page: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=164734. I hope that they either action this request urgently for you or they automatically update their indexing of PeoplePerHour to recognise that your information is no longer on PeoplePerHour.

Please let me know if I can provide you with any further help.

    Thanks again
