Will other Freelancing websites kill off PPH
I have been here for some time now and use PPH to carryout interesting and challenge tasks. When I first arrived it was relatively easy to win work and build a rapport with sellers.
However, times have changed and it seem's PPH have applied very stringent features in order to "attempt" to protect it's business model. For example, if a freelancer needs to ASK a seller for more information prior to submitting a proposal, it can take an excessive amount of time for the question to be applied to the work stream. What surprises me is that whilst you are patiently waiting for a reply a handful of Freelancers will submit unrealistic proposals ( perhaps an attempt to establish communications ) with the seller.
I would suggest either 1. Remove the restrictions on posting ASK questions, PPH you cant seriously tell me that this is working out for you guys. I bet your growth rate has slowed down considerably. 2. Give away more FREE proposal credits to enable freelancers to communicate more efficiently with the sellers.
PPH used to be a fantastic platform, and I really fear for it's ability to survive long term unless it relaxes and enables freelancers & sellers to work more efficiently together.
FACT - Work is so infrequent here now, I have started to frequent other Freelancing Websites. It's almost comical to see sellers (the same sellers) posting on 2 or 3 other freelancing websites. Your conversion rates must also be affected by this.
Be BOLD PPH, relax your rules and let us Freelancers generate profit for you, stop losing out to other Freelancing Websites.
