Apply some standards compliance to job briefs.
There has to be a way to enforce a certain standard of job posting. In the short while I've been subscribed, I've yet to see a single job posting that has even close to enough information to be able to complete a proposal. Most of them seem to be of the form "I need some software written, it needs to work on Android and iOS and my budget is $50".
I know this a problem that most of the freelance brokers, if I were in your position, I'd see this as an opportunity to stand out. Especially as you make it clear that there is an expectation on a seller to complete proposals within a given timeframe of signing up. How can that be possible, when the jobs being posted are such dross?
Quote: In order to maintain the high quality of our freelance talent pool, we expect new Freelancers to complete two separate projects and receive a 4+ rating from Buyers within the first three months of joining.
I'm sorry, but unless everyone is willing to sell themselves out on a high risk, unknown project, that's nigh on impossible.
