Conversion led to a lesser amount!

Hi

I did not know what the conversion actually does!But when i tried to withdraw the amount converting my actual amount which was 85 pounds and around $250 which was a total of 325$ as it was showing came up to 312!!PLEASE HELP ME RECONVERT AND GET THEM BACK TO INDIVIDUAL CURRENCIES!!
