fees charged to buyers

I can see there have been similar comments in the past - so I will add to them.

 

Charging buyers a fee of  10% plus 60p to pay by paypal is outrageous and smacks of profiteering.

Paypal doesn't charge fees anywhere near that level. You are already charging sellers and now you want to increase profits by whacking fees onto buyers too.

I realise you do offer a bank transfer option - but it is long winded and means keeping sellers waiting for their hard earned money.

The 10% fee is deplorable and needs to be addressed asap - or you may well find buyers using one of the many other platforms which don't charge similar extortionate fees!

    Firstly, I would like to apologize for the how you feel about our buyer and seller fees, and promise to forward your feedback to the products team regarding these. Furthermore, I would like to suggest you consider using bank transfers instead of PayPal to make deposits as we do not charge a fee for this transaction method as it is determined and applied directly by your bank.

    Also, feel free to forward any feedback you may have to me, or even make a request in our feature request page so that your voice can be heard and for other users to agree with you as well.

    May be 20% for sellers and another 20% for buyers should be OK.

    in the past was mentioned, that the first 15% are where PPH make profit, and the other 3,5% is just basic fee.
