Escrow Refund due to duplicate project

Hi,

I have accepted a proposal and paid a £75 deposit. Following a review with my seller, the job is more involved and larger. He has proposed another project with an increased price which I have agreed and accepted.

However, neither of us appear to be able to cancel the original accepted proposal so I can retrieve my deposit.

I have accepted and deposited money on the new proposal.

Who can cancel the original proposal and how do they do it?
