hourlie: The short description should be maximum 150 characters long

 I am getting the error message " The short description should  maximum 150 characters long" when I am sure that my description is more than 150 character. I tried to lessen it but still getting the same error message that is why I cannot post my hourlie.

    Briefly explain what you will "DELIVER" to the buyer.

    try to explain what you are offering, not who you are or what you can do, it should work.

    Really? I thought that would be upon approval once I submit it or post it.. basically my question here is that whether its less than 150 character or more than 150.. I'm getting that error msg.

    I am pissed that I pay but I can't sell because of the same problem. I have tried everything. First I provide shorter that 150 character. It won't work. I tried maximum and even removed symbols and number?

    Mohammed. Salam! Look. No one is still responding to me. I have paid for 3 months subscription here. But I still can't sell service because of the same problem.

     

    When I am still new here. There is no problem about the  maximum 150 characters long. This error just appear when I subscribe for 3 months and paid. Therefore, I am requesting to refund the subscription payment back. 

     

    It's hard to earn money here in the country where I am working as an expat. we even have to pay for taxes. That I am suffering from financial responsibilities and this website tried to scam me for this stupidity errors. I though I could earn and save money here. But this website tries to scam me!? 

     

    I know you are a muslim and I am from saudi arabia and expat here. Please help me refund my money back if your staff wouldn't help me fixing the  maximum 150 characters long!Shukran

    Hi Kitchie,

    I'm just a seller like you, (official response is not necessarily from official support, this is community forums and that's why I sent you direct contact link) that 150 words short description is new it was not required in the past, when I checked my old Hourlies and tried to edit them I found that description box empty, it was not there in the past.

    Wait for the support they will respond, and fix your problem.

    Meanwhile try to to improvise and keep editing till it works, it was always the same problem with Hourlies they are not approved instantly, may be now they are reviewed manually like profiles, try to apply to jobs.

    And rest assured there is no scam here.

    They are scam. Because they are doing this for the person to buy the 12 dollars "promote yourself". You see. In 3 months subscription. That includes 3 days to have that free. But me? I can't

    Wait for the support to respond and they will fix your issue, I never the used or bought any of the paid services PPH offers, never paid to promote my profile or Hourlies and never bought credits to apply to jobs.

    I believe you are talking about the "Qualifying Period Extension"

    If you paid then there is nothing to worry about.

    I see support team very slow to respond these last days , but they will respond and fix your issue.

    they are asking for characters not words

    and characters should be less than 150

    almost like

    if u are a presentation worker the description should be like that

    presentationmsofficemspowerpointmsexceltemplatesand so on

    their should be no space between them

    Write a single sentence, press enter and write another single sentence and again press enter. In this way put all your description. Hope it will work like my one :) cheers!

    THE SHORT DESCRIPTION SHOULD BE MAXIMUM 150 CHARACTERS LONG, so please see that I bold word is character above so system explain to me Type 150 character do note type 150 WORD.

    hi everyone it finally worked for me, try counting the characters on this site  http://www.charactercountonline.com/ it has to be 150 character and eventually it'll work for you too.
