Lost refund points
I did a job for someone and they gave me double the amount requested by mistake. I completed the job and refunded the extra they paid but you have deducted points which I think is unfair. The job was completed and the refund was not due to any fault on either side.

Thank you for your message.
Please don't look at the point drop as a penalty. The points you've accumulated are reset at the end of every month and are only meant to show your current position in the leader board for the running month. A true penalty would be if you received automatic negative feedback for the refund, but you haven't received any, so this refund will not stick with you past next week.

Two are ways for refunds, from the buyer's side or from the seller's side.
From your side you need to put/chose the reason "funds remained" , normally this won't penalize you.

Also been stung by a point drop for issuing a refund - to a deadbeat client who has completely disappeared not just on PPH, but seemingly from the universe (yes, I could track their company down, and yes, I have tried other forms of communication). I suppose it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things...
