I have been overcharged on my PPH fees.
Hi, I believe for my last two jobs I have been overcharged on PPH fees.
it seems I am being charged 20% + VAT... when the T&Cs clearly state
"For Sellers registered after May 13, 2015 and before March 21, 2017, PPH charges a Service Fee of a 5% (excl. VAT) on all work billed (earnings), above the first £375 | €515 | $565 earned in the month which has a 15% (excl. VAT) Service Fee."
I would like to review when I signed up because it may of been even earlier than 2015. It was definitely not after March 21, 2017.
I'm not impressed by this error! Can somebody please look into this.

Hello Fran
Thank you for your message.
Sorry to hear about this. Please note that starting on May 1st, 2017, if a Seller's billing within a calendar month is less than £50 | €60 | $65, then starting from the next month onwards, the Seller will be charged the Service Fee of a 5% (excl. VAT) on all work billed (earnings), above the first £500 | €600 | $650 earned in the month which has a 20% (excl. VAT) Service Fee, independent of the Seller's date of registration.
Since you didn’t raise invoice for last few months (May and June), therefore you will be charged at 20% service fee (excl Vat) from us and because of that you received less amount from us.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Thank you.Comment actions -
I have had exactly the same issue despite having billed for 2 jobs this month over £50. A third job was paid today and yet again I was charged £56. I have raised this issue with support to no avail.
According to your terms as PPH has quoted above,
"the Seller will be charged the Service Fee of a 5% (excl. VAT) on all work billed (earnings), above the first £500 | €600 | $650 earned in the month which has a 20% (excl. VAT) Service Fee"
You should only be deducting 5% plus VAT above the first £500 which seems to suggest there is no charge when total monthly bills are below £500.
As a lawyer, the drafting of your terms is very poor. Also, you have not notified sellers that your terms and conditions have changed.
