Need refund from Seller - he has not compelted the job
This seller has not completed the job, and the work that he has done has been uncovered as a load of rubbish when I tried to put it live, it all broke.
I have contacted him and he said he cannot complete the job it is too hard for me.
I made a mistake to pay him before he had 100% finished, and I even gave him a good review- What can I do? Have I lost all the money?

Hello Nick
Thank you for your message.
I am very sorry to hear that you haven't had a great experience with this Seller. The first step would be to make it clear to them on the WorkStream that you are not happy with the progress, and what you would like corrected, so that they have opportunity to get the job back on track for you. Most Sellers will do as much as they possibly can to keep their Buyers happy. You have to give them two chances to get it right.
However if that doesn't work (or if you have already tried that) and you remain unhappy with the progress you might like to cancel the job and find another Seller who can deliver what you need. If they have raised an invoice to you, and you don't believe that you should pay anything then you can reject their invoice.
Unfortunately if you have already paid money to them then we are not able to make sure that you receive a refund because this money is no longer held by us in the Escrow account. We always recommend that you only pay invoices and release funds from the protection of Escrow when you are happy with the work delivered; that is the purpose of the Escrow facility. However, it is worth contacting the Seller on the WorkStream to ask them to arrange a refund to you directly if you believe you are entitled to one because the work you paid for was not actually delivered.
The following help page provides you with information about this: http://support.peopleperhour.com/entries/23752593-I-have-already-paid-the-Seller-how-do-I-get-a-refund-
Just to let you know, we take complaints about Sellers very seriously; each and every upheld complaint has an impact on Seller's rankings on PPH; and low performing Sellers are automatically suspended. I know that doesn't necessarily help you in this case but hopefully it gives you some assurances that this Seller will be penalised if they don't deliver for you.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
