    Hello Usama,

PPH does not need an app - we are a completely smartphone/tablet/mobile friendly site therefore you can use PeoplePerHour on the go without having to use an app. To see if you have any messages etc you can use an email service on your phone, then check in to PPH to respond.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Yes, I agree. We need an app.The email service is slow and sometimes doesn't notify a message in time for us to respond to the client fast. A messenger service so we can get an instant notification while we are out would be great or you can improve the email notification.

The smartphone app is very important, it keeps you online even when you are not with your laptop. I think it should be considered.

I agree that a smartphone app has advantages. Receiving notifications through an app would allow one to turn off email notifications and would help reduce email clutter and keep everything from PeoplePerHour in one place. It would save some time entering the web address into the address bar and would save time logging in.

I am also disappointed in PPH for not seeing their personal benefit from the added marketing. Anytime I search for "PeoplePerHour" in the app store I just get a list of all their competition which means they are probably losing business by not having an app.

Another advantage would come from having both app notifications and email notifications. The redundancy from using both simultaneously may help some people avoid missing important messages.

More about the marketing thing too: The main reason I started using PeoplePerHour was because I googled Freelancer.com (long ago) and PeoplePerHour came up in the search. I decided to try PeoplePerHour too and still do up to this day. So users who search for PeoplePerHour on the app store but don't find them may then be motivated to try out their competition. Also users who are searching for their competition would probably see PeoplePerHour's app if PPH had an app listed and then the searcher may be interested in trying another option. So PPH is losing business from two angles by not having an app.

Another point to consider is that if their website is mobile friendly already then it would be very easy for PPH to make an app which just shows the site, keeps you logged in, and forwards the website notifications to the device notifications.

Could agree more. Completely counter intuitive not to have an app now days. Specially when others like UPWORk do.

    PPH's notification system is shocking.

The only way I know if I get a message from someone is by logging in and going in to the messages tab. This makes the whole process of communicating with freelancers slow and arduous.
