Admin Fee
Hi there - could someone please explain to me why an Admin Fee has been deducted from my account. If I have funds in there I would like them returned. I don't think taking money from me without informing me is a great customer experience.
I have enjoyed and recommended this platform on many occasions but this is not good practice.
I look forward to your response,

Hi Sarah,
The admin fee is within our T&Cs:
8.4 Admin fee for inactive User accounts
If a User has funds in their PPH Account and the User has not logged in to their PPH Account for a period of six (6) months or more then PPH will charge a monthly administration fee of £6.70 (excl. VAT) for holding those funds on behalf of the inactive User. This fee will be automatically collected each month from the funds in the User's PPH Account starting from the seventh (7th) calendar month since the User last logged in to their User account. A notification email will be sent to the User each time his PPH Account is charged for an administration fee along with instructions on how to manage the funds in his PPH Account and/or request a withdrawal of the remaining balance. The collection of this fee will end when either i) the account becomes active again after the User logs back in to PPH, or ii) the balance in the PPH Account is cleared.
If you feel this is in error then please contact support using support@peopleperhour.com
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Hi.
The same thing has also been happening to me. I also think this is not good practice.
My account has been debited for months without my knowledge and I haven't received any e mails.
Why cant you send a letter in the post or via e mail letting us know that this will happen 2 weeks in advance so we can log in and avoid the charges?
Does this now mean that because I have logged in then the charges will stop?

This is also happened to me
I mean in a way they are killing their own business
My account also got debited and i never got an email intimating that the money is deducted
I mean instead of promoting that do more business they are telling us stop coming here Why would they not give a solution and stick to their rules which is not benefiting

I have just made my first ever payment via your site, of £60 by PayPal which adjusted to £66.60 without explanation!
This is my first experience of paying a freelancer through you, I cannot be said to have a dormant account - it is my first and only payment!
I look forward to your explanation and details of how you will refund me.
