Are job invitations sent directly by the client?

Hi,

I am curious, are job invitations sent to freelancers directly by the client? Or is it simply an automated PPH matchup?

  Hi Chris, 

  This depends, some jobs can be sent to particular sellers, by buyers, directly as a 'direct job offer'. This can be proposed for or declined. Likewise a job can be offered to numerous sellers, by buyers, and these cant be contested by those sellers proposing for the same job.

  These direct or selected job invites can be found on the left hand side of your dashboard.
