I am unable to embed Hire me Widget

Can you pls leet me know step by step process that how to embed at my profile.

  Hi Sherry,

  If you go to your profile,and click edit and click save it will come up with instructions as to how to add the hire me widget.

  Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

  I've followed the instructions but I just get a load of code in my sidebar, and Wordpress telling me I can't save it as there's an error.  Can you help? Thanks
