What do points mean?

I have recently gained 1250 points against an invoice paid. I've never seen this before. What are points? What do you do with them? What's the benefit?

  Points relate to your CERT scoring - if you get more points your CERT scoring increases.

  Hi Kate,

  There is a no display this points in PPH.

  but when you complete next project the notification says your total points.
