Quality of Projects and Clients Deteriorating?
Hi,
I have been using this site for over two years and had a good experience. But in the past 4-5 months the quality of projects posted and clients has nose dived considerably. This is just not me, few of my friends have same opinion.
More than 50% jobs are fake jobs (which are never awarded). Despite quality going down PPH has started charging more from the sellers. We don't get notifications when a job in our skill set is posted (which earlier was the case), proposal credit system has changed. So we are actually putting in more effort and getting minimal results.
I wonder what all has changed at PPH's end but guys you need to do something about the clients & your algorithms (seller like me have almost given up on PPH).
Regards,
BJ

Any yes, the KellyBot reply.... and the post is forgotten.
It's not just the last few months, but a steady decline. PPH relies on income from 2 sources... buyer fees, and seller commissions & proposal credits.
You can probably guess where this is going...
An ever incresing % of jobs not awarded, far greater than 50%, closer to 85%. Jobs only awarded at minimal values. So PPH is relying on squeezing sellers with higher commissions ( and forcing older sellers off better rates ) and increasing proposal usage via little barrier to entry for buyers, and the latest scam... 'High Value' jobs, which are invariably anything but.
I'm keeping a track of % awarded for a random subset of jobs per day. Far higher than 50%. Far higher.
