Good day! I'm just getting started on the platform, and I have a question. Yesterday, I went to the 'search for offers' section and applied for a job, but I got a bit confused. I mistakenly thought it was for offering my translation services when, in fact, I inadvertently requested a translation service myself. I quickly apologized to the person for the misunderstanding. I'm wondering if I should wait to be invited or if I can still apply in the 'search for offers' section. I admit, it left me a bit puzzled!

  Yes, as Nancy has explained, offers are pre-packaged services that freelancers have created for buyers to purchase. If you want to find projects to bid on to win work, please head to this page: https://www.peopleperhour.com/freelance-jobs

  Offers are NOT jobs.  They are people advertising their services.  Go to the job board and apply for one of the projects instead, and wait till you receive an invitation.
