A Freelancer Given Me His Phone Number

I never asked any freelancer to tell me his phone number. So if a freelancer given me his phone number, please tell me, am I volating the platform as a client ?

    You can accept a telephone number to discuss a project, but you must upload or link the work on the PPH platform and invoice through PPH too.

    I don't think it's allowed to discuss in a telphone number. Because PPH support send me a scolding notification that saying I have redirected the freelancers to another site which is unallowed. Despite the fact that I have made all of the payments made in the platform.

    So I am very confused, if the job was on google sheet, is that even ok ?.

    If working on another site is unallowed, then what can you work on exactly here ?
    I am suspecting this is the main reason why the number of users here in PPH are too little, thus; very hard for me to receive proposal even though all my feedbacks are 5 stars from the freelancers.

    Are you a pph suppor team member ?

    I'm a TOP CERT freelancer.  This is a help forum for anyone.

    I'm sure you can discuss requirements, but as long as you keep all evidence of work on the platform, and invoice it on PPH I can't see the problem.  Google Doc should be fine too, as long as you upload a link on the PPH platform.

    Please tell me what most likely be the reason that PPH support said this to me :

    "I am contacting you as it came to our attention that you are redirecting Freelancers to another site. Please keep in mind that such actions are against our T&C and we would kindly ask you to make sure that you keep the whole communication/ proof of work and payments in the workstream."

    What I did was :

    - Redirecting the freelancers to google sheet for work

    - Redirecting the freelancers to see the social media app that we are making.

    - Screenshots like prntscr

    I can't speak for PPH.  You'll have to raise a ticket and ask them to answer you properly.

    I guess it depends on how you redirected the freelancers, and to where?  But raise a ticket and ask.

    Yeah, I created a ticket already, but as far as my knowledge. I have redirected to those sites mostly. Some are also to dropbox, which have a description about the technical instruction.

    So redirecting to another site is not a violation right ??!.

    Which kinds of sites redirected would be a violation ??.
