You were also at fault by not complying to PPH Terms and Conditions.

Time and time again these threads state the importance of always going through the platform with deposit money in Escrow and not going on Telegram.

Why didn't you query this with them? If they told you to put your head in a gas oven and switch it to Gas Mark 7 would you do that? Why are you sending external people your bank account details when you're registered on PPH?

You should have complied with the PPH procedure.  Scammers can only scam people who let them do so

Yes, I acknowledge my mistake as I am a new freelancer on PeoplePerHour. Additionally, the project director (with the username "@SAMANTHA PEARCE" on Telegram) assigns her projects on PeoplePerHour. I submitted a proposal for her project on PeoplePerHour and received a message from KATLEGO through this platform to contact the project manager via Telegram at her username @SAMANTHA PEARCE. Upon contacting her, she shared the project's rough data collection on Telegram. I added this project to my PROFILE on PeoplePerHour yesterday with the title 'CLIMATE CHANGE PRIMER' and uploaded the completed file to my Profile.

I want to emphasize that PeoplePerHour is a trustworthy website used by freelancers. I completed this project because my proposal was accepted on this platform. KATLEGO, who works with you on PeoplePerHour, instructed me to contact the project manager through a message received on PeoplePerHour and Gmail: amansahibzada2k24@gmail.com.

Unfortunately, the project was soon cancelled on PeoplePerHour. Upon inquiring about the cancellation, the project manager, user @samantha-pearce, informed me that she cancelled the project because she had selected me to complete it. I diligently completed the project in a concise and organized manner, which was approved by her and her team. Subsequently, she informed me that an amount of 2000 euros had been approved for this project and provided a link to contact the finance department through "SIMPLIPED PAYMENT METHOD."

A person on this link requested payment of 50 euros for the release of my salary after obtaining my photo, phone number, and Gmail. However, I refused to pay this fee. When I contacted the project manager regarding this issue, she instructed me to leave her alone and to contact the finance department.

In summary, PeoplePerHour is a highly trusted platform. Both KATLEGO and the project manager (@Samantha_Pearce) utilized this website for the aforementioned project. However, the project manager engaged in unfair practices to earn money, misusing her powers and violating the terms and conditions of PeoplePerHour. It's worth noting that Katlego often sends messages on PeoplePerHour instructing to contact the Project Manager via Telegram at her username '@Samantha Pearce' for project details

In light of all the above evidence and the effectiveness of the PeoplePerHour platform, I hope that PeoplePerHour will play an effective role in recovering my salary from the project manager whose username on Telegram is @Samantha-pearce."

This is always the excuse when freelancer plagiarise or get scammed “I’m new”. No you have just thought you would make a quick buck and these scammers prey on people like you.

There is no Samantha Pearce, there is no projects they were a scam to get money out of you (which they have as they have all your details)

You went outside of the platform and frankly if you can’t work out how to use a basic platform then you should not be allowed to use it as you add no value to the decent freelancers that work on here daily

Also very naive and crazy to expect PPH to compensate you.  You are told time and time again not to work outside the platform. You broke those rules.

Being new here is no excuse.  When I was a new driver I had to familiarise myself with the Highway Code and read the road for my own safety.  It's the same here, you comply for your own safety.

I solely utilized the PeoplePerHour platform and didn't engage outside of it. However, I fell victim to scams perpetrated by individuals operating within this platform. Both Katlego and Samantha Pearce utilize PeoplePerHour for assigning their project work. I received a message from Katlego instructing me to contact the project manager on Telegram under the username @Samantha-Pearce. I urge you not to accuse me of wrongdoing; I remained within the confines of the website. I received communications through this platform, and I have provided screenshots as evidence. I request a transparent inquiry into this matter. Not only was I scammed, but this platform was also misused by scammers to exploit freelancers.

Did you have money deposited in PPH's Escrow System?

Did you give out your personal banking details, etc, to anyone outside of this platform?

    Answer these two questions truthfully!

"I received a message from Katlego instructing me to contact the project manager on Telegram under the username @Samantha-Pearce"

This is against PPHs T&Cs - you contacted them through Telegram - therefore everything that happens after that is your fault.

"Not only was I scammed, but this platform was also misused by scammers to exploit freelancers."

Which is why you (as a freelancer) and them (as a buyer) sign the T&Cs when you create an account with PPH, which specifically exonerates them when you go against PPHs T&Cs.

Moral of the story - if a client says the word "Telegram", simply walk away.
