This job is to fix CLS issues in Google search console.

Above is the Google Search Console report attached by the client when he posted the job on PPH.

I have started the Job on 10th May 2023, after completing the work for 3 days he came to requested me to pause the work. Saying that, there is some functionality pending by the previous developer. After a week, he sent me a message to resume the work. Then I came to know, all my previous work was gone. When I check with the client, he replied me back saying that, the developer restored the old backup.

So, again I had to redo the 3 days work and completed the task. After Completing the job, clearly informed him not to disable any cache methods because google validation takes time.

After few days I have received email stating that google validation failed. Then I have visited the site and found the cache methods were disabled. When I ask him why it is disabled, the client denied it. When I showed him the proof then he agreed that, he hired some one to remove the malware, that guy disabled the cache. Due to this validation process extended.

I have updated him in the message board after all cls issues in the desktop were cleared and shared the below screenshot. But he didn't respond.

Meanwhile he hired multiple developers for different development works, every time something goes wrong, he use to come and ask me to fix them. I helped him fixing them few times. For some reason he himself restored the site to the old backup and site gone down. When he approached me I conveyed him that, this is not part of the CLS job, so need additional budget.

Immediately he removed the access to site and Google Search Console and requested for refund from PPH. Though all CLS issues were cleared and Core Web Vitals also passed.

Sad part is PPH set limit to 200 characters only to respond to the refund request. So I don't have option to explain all these, also I don't have access to Google Search Console to show the proof of work completed.

Surprisingly PPH refunded the money to the buyer without verifying with me. 

It was very disappointing, loosing money after working for this long.

It was very stressful working with him.
