    Hi there, thanks for your message and apologies for the delay.
     
    If we notice that the city and country you have selected in your profile are different from the place you regularly access PeoplePerHour, we will update your details automatically.
     
    We do this so that members of the site know which country other members are based in, which is important to our users when conducting work with each other.
     
    If we make this change to your profile, the location settings will be locked so you will be unable to change your location settings. Instead, you will see a tooltip notification when hovering over your country icon to alert you to this.
     
    We request proof of address to verify you are the owner of the account and that the location is accurate.

    I open a ticket 2 weeks ago, I am asking question and nobody reply, I am totally ignored. 

    this is not good customer care, I am a customer am I not? So please do reply to my requests and my questions. 

    Why when moving to another country on HOLIDAY I have the profile location changed automatically and nobody ask for proof of residence, WHY?? But when I am back as you put it on you article "If we notice that the city and country you have selected in your profile are different from the place you regularly access PeoplePerHour, we will update your details automatically." so Why does not automatically change country to where I am, this would make sense.

    Regularly access, it means is the country where I  live and work, this can be checked by the many times I have access your site, and can be checked by Bank account, and proof of residence already sent many many years ago when I joint PPH. 

    You should ask for proof of residence if you see the app opening in another country not when I am back. Don't you see how ridiculous this rule is? 

    Please reset my location profile as it was for the last 10 years and more that I am your customer, proof of residence and bank account are already there I am in UK and always be, unless I am going for holiday to another country
