I know we can add Paypal as payment method but can we use our "Paypal Balance" if our paypal account isn't linked to any account ?

Hello,
I have seen other people asking the question, but I can't seem to find an answer.
If I have a Paypal account not linked to any card (I set my payment method as *Paypal Balance*), can I still pay/receive money via Paypal through that method?
Or does the Paypal account have to be linked to a debit/credit card?

  Hi there, thanks for your message. 

  You can use PayPal as a payment method. If you have balance in it you should be able to use it even if it is not linked to any card. For further clarifications, you will need to communicate directly with Paypal though.
