Where is my Escrow and why is customer support so bad?
I awarded a freelancer a project. Turns out he had no idea what he was doing and only got the project partially done. We agreed on a partial payment, for which he issued an invoice and I paid.
Money is still stuck in escrow. I have sent a couple of messages to the help center but they are taking forever to answer.
As I need that money to continue the project, and as I haven't heard back from the Help Centre yet, I have tentatively marked the job as "completed". So far the amount in escrow has not been returned to me: let's see what happens...
This makes for a bad customer experience for sure....
