A website design job was awarded they started work but now ignore all messages i would like my depost back and to stop work with them.

  same here, plus they knew the job was very urgent, and all they've done so far, is ruined the nav structure i built originally!

  I have a similar problem, the buyer has ignored me for nearly 1 month, and it seems I cannot even be compensated by the deposit, as they have to agree to pay it!

  I'm sorry to hear that Richard! In future, before you start work, make sure that your buyer accepts your proposal and sends you a deposit to be held in escrow. This ensures you are always paid for the work you have done if a buyer disappears.

  I purchased an hourly & have had an email stating that the seller cannot complete as he has had an accident & is in hospital ... What do I do now?
