How do I "Verify my e-mail address"?

First-time PPH user. I am trying to accept a proposal. I just keep getting a meesage telling me I have to "verify my e-mail address" first (see attached). How do I do this? I can't see any "e-mail verified" button.

  Hi Peter,

  You will have received an email when you signed up from PPH. The link to verify your email address is in that email. If you don't see it and it's not in your spam folder, please contact us at support@peopleperhour.com for assistance
