    Hi Geoff

The only people who can view your attachments are the members in the WorkStream that you attach the file to. So that's you and the member you are sending the file to.

    Hey, Kelly:

I have a related question.  When a file is uploaded as a workstream message attachment by the seller, can the buyer delete or otherwise alter the attached file?

This is important for me to know.  Please advise at earliest opportunity.  Thanks so much!

    Hi Crissie

No they cannot delete or alter the attached file in the WorkStream but they can download the file from the WorkStream and onto their hard drive, where they may then alter it if needed.

    Hi there!

I just joined this community yesterday, and was wondering whether the reply I send to a proposal is seen by the public, or just by the intended recipient?

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome Paris! It is only seen by the intended recipient.

    Hi there Kelly

Many thanks for your reply.....Much appreciated!

However, I would just like to confirm that I do fully understand, so I have uploaded a screenshot of the exact area on the website that I wish to leave my contact details for only the recipient to see.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Paris

It is against our policy to exchange contact details and they will unfortunately be removed from the workstream.

    Hi Kelly

Thank you for letting me know.

I do apologise, as I was sincerely not aware, only having joined yesterday.

I miss the step of proposal acceptance and send the document instead. Could the seller delete their data in the workstream ? thanks.

    Hi Rhyando,

Please note that the Seller, nor the Buyer are able to delete the messages that they have already sent in the workstream. If the Buyer didn't accept the proposal, simply remind them to accept it so that you may eventually be able to raise your invoice when the work has been completed.

Thanks for the confirmation Meletis, Fortunately for me, the seller approved the proposal. Lesson learned "never give the file before proposal acceptance".

Can I delete attachments I have uploaded to a work stream?

Same question. The seller posted personal details on the messages. Post-GDPR this is not allowed. It is imperative that I am able to remove them now.

Yes Joseph a 7 year-old joke. I do not share any attachments with my sellers via PPH it is not private and I cannot take it down. When a seller insist on posting attachments via PPH, I walk away.
