Hi Tapas
There's more information to assist you with this here: http://support.peopleperhour.com/entries/72919808-New-Seller-Application-Feature-

A new PPH requirement is that sellers complete this application in order to have their skills reviewed. When the application is completed and submitted, our moderation team will review it and will approve it accordingly.
If it takes longer then 3 days to review your application, please do not hesitate to contact our support team for additional assistance.
For reference, I have attached the link to the application, so that it can be complete:

I have already been selling in people per hour and now it tells me I cannot send any proposals because I need an application to be approved... I have never received any application, never an email with this request or anything.
PPH should also have a direct customer service email... it is appaling that I have to write in a forum in order to get any kind of service.

So here's an update. The seller application, as I understand it, is to help verify you have the ability to do a job and help PPH to set you up in their new filter.... matching sellers and buyers.
So how does not having a photo of yourself help in this process? I had a profile picture.... but it wasn't of me so application rejected. I am thinking that perhaps giving this site a good go might not have been one of my greatest moments....

What is wrong with PPh? This is irritating a lot. During posting an application, it asks for approving the application! There is already a labyrinth of steps for posting the application. It peeves me to right this because there are certain jobs, which I have done and could have saved lot of time and energy!
PPH, please resolve this.
Thanks,

PPH has ruined everything with its new system in so many ways. I hope that buyers have to go through the same stringent process that sellers do...I once had a seller that refused to pay me unless I only charged 30p per hour and then I'm the one who received negative feedback. Where is the Sellers protection...waste of time being on this site now considering that I can't bid on anything (and I was in the middle of two jobs)! Thanks PPH for making the entire process completely inadequate for a seller who is the expert and the buyer who needs the expert! What a complete farce! Goodluck PPH as you won't be getting any recommendations from me ever again. So much for loyalty.

I kept trying for the last few days to apply for seller, but got stuck on the step where diplomas and qualifications are required. I'm a virtual assistant, graphic designer and project manager. All learned by myself and performing great on other freelancing sites, without needing to prove with a paper that I am good at such jobs. Scrolling through the current sellers, I keep wondering: does everyone have a paper certification for what they offer here? Like for example: what kind of certification is there for Voice Over, or for typing jobs, or for research ... are even there courses for these? Now I am laughing out of two reasons: my stupidity of trying hard to get approved on a site such as PPH, who seems to have no idea about anything in particular, and mainly in respecting the sellers (what are you guys going to do when most of the sellers will leave or will be unable to sell their services?), and the second reason I am laughing is seeing PPH kicking their own a***** without even knowing. Thank you, sellers, for opening my eyes :).

pph used to great now since the update its a minefield.................for instance......... In order to send a Proposal, you should get your Seller Application approved........how the hell that works i have no idea...............just sent a proposal or so i thought.............now what do i just wait for pph to approve my proposal, ridiculous !

Hello pph admin, I followed all your requirements for seller account already. But then I receive an error in my account application. What's wrong with you guys? If you don't want to get more seller account please just disable the feature or reply to us a valid reason.
I once hail you as a great website, but now I don't know already.
