Lee you need to discuss the refund with the seller. You can't just take it.

Tafadzwa, you must get the agreement of the seller. If you can't agree you will need to ask PPH support to mediate in a dispute.

Hello PPH,

could you please refund me ASAP, its  almost a week that the seller does not communicate at all. 

I am getting tired of people having good reviews and being so unprofessional. Should be a limit of work they can get a day/ week. They get themselves too busy and cant  cope with the projects. Its frustrating and not worth the stress.

Look forward to have my refund back.

I just received this email message and I am very unhappy you did this without my permission. The job is not yet complete, and I had agreed with the seller to wait for my further feedback.
Please reinstate my escrow.

Just to let you know that we have now automatically released the $40 held in Escrow to Fabian L. on your behalf as payment for the Hourlie turn your 2d logo in 3d, after they finished the work and raised an invoice to you on 08 December 2015 14:50 Etc/UTC.

Duncan, the system is automated. It pays the invoice after a while if you don't reject it.

I have been struggling for weeks to have someone complete some work - despite repeated requests for correction which have not been adequately done, and having requested final jpgs or amendable files, I have still had no response but a $68 payment has been made from escrow - I did not authorise this and I want to stop it until I get my piece of work!

@Abby: I'm guessing that the $68 payment was made because you ignored an invoice. The PPH system will pay an invoice if it is ignored for more than a week - you have to reject invoices that you disagree with.

Contact support@peopleperhour.com . It's a waste of time thinking PPH take notice of this forum. They don't read the messages here.
