Make Feedback more User-Friendly - More Features
One of my clients has left me feedback as a message rather than in my feedback area. They are new to PPH but I too found it difficult to work out how to do it at first. There is no obvious way until payment has been received and even then it doesn't stand out clearly enough.
It would be so much easier if you could press a button asking them to leave feedback via a link or if there was an obvious feedback section in the dashboard....
Can anyone advise? I don't really want to ask my extremely busy to log back in and rewrite my feedback after they've gone to the time and trouble already... but I'm new to PPH and trying to build my profile.
Very frustrating!
Anyone?

I think there should be a way for for either party to add multiple points for review.
Perhaps something like:
Review service provider / client
Review price / budget
Review turnaround / client communication. etc... This is something that could then be incorporated into member profiles. Buyers and sellers alike could then form an educated opinion on turnaround, quality, cost, budget etc...

ALLOW BUYERS TO POST FEEDBACK WHEN THE SELLER INITIATES A DISPUTE
what is this about not leaving feedback after a dispute. Isn't that what feedback is meant to be? To allow the purchaser to honestly express their experience? I've had a job disputed by the seller when he could not deliver an acceptable design, even though his ad said "revisions until satisfied". I didn't want to torture the guy asking for unlimited revisions, so I asked to cancel the job. He disputed the cancelation and asked to be paid the full amount. PPH ruled in the sellers favor. I don't think PPH even read his advertisement of services as PPH determined a different "limit of the services" that were being offered. So now they have my money and I have nothing. Sounds like only good experiences are allowed to be posted? Hummm.... Sounds like PPH is trying to protect their cut of revenue. Not a good strategy.

Dear Jacqueline,
I admire your request but there is some difficult to leaving feedback after dispute, because both of parties buyers and sellers can be spoil their profile with fighting stories. so that PPH allows to ask your seller to provide two more revisions until you happy. so you should allow your seller to rework. but honestly I don't know the real problem you between your seller. but the policy is you have to make payment for work already done because the seller spent some effort on your work. if the work is not met your expectation you should be give a space to revise the design one time or twice so you can avoid refund and unnecessary disputes. seems to be you are not offering any revisions to correct the mistake so that PPH released the money to seller. tnext time be careful when you buying the hourlie and your instructions to avoid refunds and dispute. best of luck.
regards,
Aysha

I actually did provide him with several opportunities to revise his work, all disappointing and amateurish. It just became too frustrating and I realized that he was not going to be able to satisfy me. Twice I offered to end the project so as not to waste any more of his time. No hostility, it just didn't work out. After another few rounds of revisions, it really wasn't going anywhere and I suggested we end the project as it was clear he wasn't producing what I desired. He then demanded full payment, without any explanation. I feel like I've been scammed. It was handled very unprofessionally. I think that this seller has experienced this situation many times because he was very quick to hit the "dispute" button and not try to resolve with me at all.

A pop-up screen would be great for this! Sometimes I've spent months doing work for my buyers and they seem really happy with the work and say they'd happily ask me to do more things for them, yet they never leave feedback. I always leave feedback for my buyers yet some don't seem to have a spare minute to write a few words/a sentence and click on the stars. I'm never sure if they don't see it or just can't be bothered and think a message is good enough. I think a pop-up window would be really useful straight after they've paid the invoice with a little message saying "please leave feedback because it' important for the seller" or something.
