Hi Nick (and to all the rest you who have posted here),

    thanks for reaching out!

The truth is we already had this implemented (you can find it here) but apparently it hasn't been discoverable. Apologies for that.

The only certain thing is that we have just added this to our backlog so as to make it accessible by other users in the future.

    Kind regards,

    Haris Syntyhakis

All major freelancing portals have this option and it makes us so easy to work. You must get this feature added asap.

    I couldn't agree more!

I've been getting 'pipped to the post' for lots of jobs I've applied for, which is very disheartening.

I'm unable to sit and refresh PeoplePerHour.com, and so I rely upon the RSS feeds of job boards to get notifications of new jobs...

Most PPH jobs are full-of-proposals/taken with 10 minutes of being posted, so I'm going to continue to miss out on most jobs, until there is an RSS feed.

    Thank you kindly,

    Hugh.

If you support this, please click the orange button to like this feature request! The more likes it gets, the more chance you have of getting this looked at :)

The email notification, while better than nothing, is just too slow. Please, please can we have an RSS feed. I've just missed bidding for another job because I got the notification more than an hour after the fact.

    Any progress on this request?

We had posted a similar request http://support.peopleperhour.com/requests/285873 earlier and we have just now voted for this request.

@Kelly PPH should not wait for more likes to implement this feature. No doubt RSS feature is a most important feature of any website.

This really is an important feature. I use it on all freelancing sites that offer it. It makes me more efficient which then improves the experience of my client.

Adding my total support to this. I have a  homepage with RSS' from all major freelancer sites, for at-a-glance jobs. All except PPH, which means my visits to the site are far less frequent and obviously my bids. It's not something just for us - it would benefit you too.

As a newcomer to PPH I am pretty surprised there isn't an RSS feed.

Already using another freelancer site and was looking to expand.. but without an RSS feed.. don't think PPH will be much of a viable place to look for work.

Other sites I work with all have this feature (RSS feeds). PPH is the only one that doesn't. Brings all new projects into a single location for me to browse quickly through them and respond immediately. Please, please, PLEASE add this feature soon!

When I first found PPH I tried to look for work and that did not work, in part because I had to manually keep looking for jobs manually... Lately I have moved to find sub-contractors in PPH, but if they can't even get something as basic as RSS or at a minimum respond to us in here then it is time to move on to some other service.

It's still not available after 2 years?

You got to be kidding!! Come on guys do you expect all of us to hit the website four times a day? We do have lives and other work to do!!

PPH you are shooting your own foot not having this. The more tech savvy and higher quality freelancer is the one that is more likley to use RSS since they will have the experience and knowledge of the advantages it provides and since they are likley busier than novice freelancers and less likely to be desperate enough to be constantly manually reviewing adds, meanwhile the newer less experienced freelancer who is starving for work is free to watch your site manually, clients will get proposals quicker from higher quality freelancers if you implement RSS, without it your clients are getting lower quality proposals especially when the ad is fresh and at it's prime for contact.

Could you please add this feature? I'm not sure why this feature is not available in pph job search. Eagerly waiting.

The fact you all don't have an RSS feed or API is probably one of the biggest reasons you only have less than 6k jobs available.. , the latest being from a year ago 🤔. Upwork as 132k .... the latest being from yesterday. Way to listen to your customer's opinions guys 👍. It seems to be serving you well.

BTW, as a developer, I know this would personally take me less than a day to implement. So yeah.

    Hi @Haris,

Thanks for the update, Just checked the shared URL. Seems the shared feed doesn't have a way to sort, paginate and query. It's great if you guys could add this functionality.

    Hi @Chinthaka,

sorry for this, but from what I know RSS feeds don't generally offer this kind of functionality.

However our feed provides the ability of filtering by terms which you may find useful.
For example http://www.peopleperhour.com/feed/jobs?term=php will only contain currently listed projects with "php" in the title or description or location.

    Thanks,

    Haris
