that would be great, because I've pressed submit by accident on a couple of occasions and have forgotten to add attachments or tick one of the boxes.

Even if the period in which it was possible to edit was set at 5 minutes I feel it would be a lot fairer.  It always used to be possible to do this and now that proposals have to be bought when they run out it is even more important to be able to make a change, and to ensure that if a 'feature' is used it is not lost if the proposal has to be cancelled and then resubmitted.

After discussing requirements in more depth it's often necessary to cancel the proposal and submit a new one based on discussions with the client. It's not really fair to have to pay another proposal credit? We should be able to amend the bid, just like customers can amend their project details (and we get email notification that the project details have changed).

Yes. please. Sometimes people make mistakes in words or forget to make attachement.

It should be an option to edit.

Potential clients on PPH far too often have either placed a poor job advert or have no idea what they need and how they need it done, resulting in an inaccurate or unknown budget.

I often put proposals in knowing they are incorrect which will need cancelling for an accurate one to be put forward after much discussion with the potential client.

I would recommend the ability to edit the proposal until it is accepted or declined, which will fix this problem.

I really really like this idea.....And when the seller edit's the proposal, the buyer should be notified immediately.

There should also be an option for editing proposals. PPH must look into this idea. Today i was submitting a sample along with my proposal to a high value project and after submitting proposal i realized that i sent wrong attachment, so i had to cancel the proposal and submitted it again with the correct attachment.

Also my 3 credits were utilized twice. When i cancelled the first proposal then my 3 credits should have been returned back to me instead they were utilized and i had to spend 3 more credits to send my proposal again.

So Pph should look into this issue , if a person cancel his proposal then his credits should be back to his account.

Thanks, i hope that PPH will find my suggestion useful. Thanks

Nadeem, I doubt that anyone at PPH will even see your suggestion - they don't visit this community.

Feel free to message support about your suggestion, or mention it on Facebook.

WOW, four years and eight months since the original post and PPH hasn't deemed it worth their time to check this thread. just wow. And I agree with Ross and everyone , there should be an option to edit the proposal and I don't really get why it's even up for debate. After all buyers can update the job after it's been posted. To have to cancel the first proposal and send another one just because you forgot to write " Carrot" or include an attachment in the proposal is already one credit wasted. Other platforms have this feature; it wouldn't be such a monumental task to incorporate it here on PPH now, would it?

PPH don't bother with these forums and their driving force is making money, not making a good system, from anyone's viewpoint.

If they make us use an extra credit to change a proposal, then across the sellers it means a raise in sales of credits for sellers making a lot of proposals and therefore more money for PPH.

They have no financial reason to change the existing system, quite the opposite.

Since 2015, PPH fees have rocketed and PPH now extract more and more money from buyers and sellers. They even label low-pay jobs as "HIGH VALUE" and charge triple credits to make a proposal.
