Text formatting options for proposal box

Well, as I am writing in this suggestion box I can actually use text formatting options! But I can't use them for writing proposals.

It would be terribly useful to have some simple tools for at least bold and italics.

Reasons:

1) Text without formatting = wall of text. Think of 10 to 20 proposals and you have a buyer who is about to faint of boredom. 

2) Text without formatting = Very difficult to read for, among others, dyslexic people.

3) Formatting is essential for presenting information in the best way possible. Emphasis! _Metaphors! _Corrections

  Oh I couldn't agree more!

  I submit detailed proposals. I like to ensure every job is tied down at proposal stage rather than pick up the pieces later. My jobs are usually multifaceted. I get fed up of trying to find ways of differentiating between sections. All I want is the ability to embolden, underline, or italicise. Numbers and bullets would be great. Anything else would be a bonus (maybe colour?)
