Feedback open for unlimited period
Hello,
After the completion of a project when the client pays the Invoice, it indicates that the client is happy with the job and has hence paid us. However, the feedback remains open for unlimited period of time and the client can choose to provide a feedback even after 3 months or more from the date of completion of the project.
Even after completion of the job and due payment of the invoice, we help our clients with certain issues like bug fixing or any errors that might occur due to our work and even some petty issues pertaining to their project.
The client does not provide feedback all along this time and after this 3/4 months or even more of support post completion of the project maybe comes up with extra work (that is not covered in our scope) or might have any issues with the website (which is not because of our work) and wants us to do the work.
It also may be that any problem might crop up in the website after we have successfully completed the job and which may be on account of the client accessing or modifying the website at his/her end. Now when we mention this to them that it is additional work or maybe it is not due to our fault the client threatens to provide a negative feedback.
I would like to suggest that the feedback should remain open for a certain period of time, say till 30 days after client pays the invoice and not for unlimited period of time, because after payment of the job it marks its completion and the client should be providing the feedback instantly and not after 3-4months.
Kindly look into this matter.
