Paid Seller Twice

Hi

I had a seller take on a job for me in December for which I add the funds and somehow also paid him straight away. I assumed it was in Escrow so when the work was finally finished yesterday (17th Feb) he sent the invoice through. I assumed I was just releasing the funds but instead ended up paying twice. Both monies are in my bank statement, one for the Decemeber and another for February. I think the seller will do the right thing but I need to know if theres a mechanism in PPH for him to give me back the funds?
