Why the Attempt to Deduct Fees from Funds in Escrow

I purchased from two new sellers with deceptive low pricing and when I rejected the attempts to get me to pony-up more money they cancelled the accepted deal.

To my shock, support deducted 10% from my funds in escrow before refunding the balance to my PPH wallet.

I was able to get the deduction reversed but would like to hear from other buyers if this is a regular occurrence.

  Count yourself lucky- at one stage PPH tried to get the freelancer to cover ALL their costs if the client did a runner!

  I am glad that happened because I was able to discover cheaper sources for the same services. Since it's your money look for alternatives if the ripient is not acting right.

  This job was mutually agreed that the seller did not have the skills to complete the work. So why should PPH insist that I pay the sums. Pl check loads of reminders not to release funds but PPH keep insisting to deduct from eschow
