How can I turn off email notifications?!

Hi,

I've unchecked everything in the notification settings in my profile and set "Transactional Emails" to "Essential", but still, everytime I get a proposal I do receive an email. Since I am on the website anyway I don't need to get my inbox spammed with that. How can I turn this off?

  I have exactly the same issue, need to turn off the notifications and the website settings don't seem to have kicked in
