Clarifcation board being changed? or is it some temporary bug?
Recently I noticed, not sure if others did notice/face same or not, that whenever I post my first question in teh clarification, it is sent for moderation; it does not appear in our 'Messages' stream; we cannot track what happened to that question unless the buyer decides to reply to it; when he replies, it shows up in the Notification section as a new invitation! Above all, what ever discussion happens after this reply, appears in the clarification board, visible publicly which I am sure none of us would want or are comfortable with.
Whole of this process takes indefinate time and some time I had to submit proposal even woithout being 100% sure what the buyer exactly wants or may end up wanting. :-(
All this alongwith taking down of clarification questions like ,"May I see the image in question?", etc. under pretence of self promotion or something else.
Are we missing one point that more time we take in deciding on the proposal, lesser are the chances we stand to win it.
Why are the jobs being posted not moderated in such a way that they HAVE to carry complete band all relevent informations to the probable questions a seller may have? JUst don;'t allow vague jobs being posted. That will help us save using our 'precious/ darling' quota of 15 credits per month!
If a bug, please fix this as soon as posisble.

Hi Anay,
Many thanks for your message.
Our system has changed and our moderation team is now rejecting questions that are not to the point. I understand you find this frustrating, though we urge our Sellers to always raise a Proposal. By raising a proposal users can now contact each other for the job/project specifically and proceed with it.
We had issues in the past where Sellers and Buyers were exchanging contact details and were working outside of PPH (breaching our terms) under the clarification board.
Thank you for your patience and please let me know if I can help you with anything else.Comment actions -
You are right in explaining the moderation team part. That is justified and have always been there. But you did not relate to the reason why whole of workstream is publicly visible until the point proposal is accepted. There are many aspects of the job that seller wants to keep only between himself, the seller & the pph, not whole of world.
This is what is troubling a lot and I for one am now refraining from asking few things which can help me understand the required completely and clearly; particularly, when job does not carry all the relevant information. Better moderate such job descriptions and make buyers provide all and complete information.
By the way, how do you expect & suggest a seller and a buyer agree to a common financial threshold in public? -
Just as a feedback (I can't do any more than that!). Making the discussion with the buyer visible publicly, is not a 'healthy' step. Keep kit up to moderation team alone, and uptill first query along. Then, if the buyer responds to it, make it in a private workstream as it used to be earlier. The 'moderation' was able to keep an eye there too. At least, as a Seller I felt more comfortable discussing all aspects of the job in a private workstream, not hidden from PPH but from other sellers & buyers.
No, not a good change this time. And, yes, it has been 2 days or bit more since my last question, it is still unanswered. Thanks,

Also, the information gets public which can always be used by a smart seller for his benefit. I must confess I am now restricted on discussing with my prospects. Hence, can't raise proposal with the same confidence that I used to have earlier. Every job has many probable aspects that we need to know when raising the proposal.
