"curated freelance talent" is not how I would call most proposals on this website. including this last one. 15 pounds for a photographer. curated by who and who? this site is terrible. every time I get an email about new works I only open it to see how worse it can be.
how can you exist as professionals, sending proposals for this kind of jobs? unless you live in a country where 15 pounds a day is an average daily pay? do you realise you don't just ruin the market but also your lives? 7 pounds something is the hourly pay for being a waiter in this country. you also have equipment and you don't work every single day. how long can you go on like this? do you think you will ever get better clients devaluing your work like this? I'm curious.

  I have heard a lot of people talk about UpWork and comparing it to PPH. So far, I have only seen UpWork trumping PPH in so many ways. I think the rates on there are better than on here

  I don't know , I fled from there longtime ago...
  You should try everything on PPH , promote you profile , post Hourlies, improvise a bit, Upjob is overcrowded now

  I have been a TOP CERT seller for years - getting the work is not a problem, it is everything else. I am not planning on spending extra money on here for reaping some benefits that I'm not sure exists.

  The issue is that there is a lot of work that needs doing in order to iron out the serious problems. Problems they are very very aware about, but won't do anything.

  I have recently joined UpWork because of these problems and they have been much much better in every way. The only issue I have with UpWork is as a buyer - there is so much awful quality on there, it's incredible. It is crowded and it's difficult to find anyone any good. But this is why you have to pay more - because they charge more to set them apart from the rest.
