Make the 'Assigned' flag automatic
Hi,
I have over 20 jobs in my proposed list and, because a lot of buyers seem to give the work to a seller but not flag up that it's been assigned, I (and I suspect many other sellers) are left hanging and still thinking the job is open.
I know this happens as two of my jobs were given to me by contact from the buyer but I had to remind them to apply the 'Assigned' flag on the job page.
This could make sellers wary of bidding for more jobs until the existing ones are assigned, in case they get overloaded with work if several of their proposals are accepted together.
Would it be possible to both make the 'Assigned' flag an obligatory or even automatic part of the buyer's process and also to automatically show that flag on the job list on our dashboards, please?
I spend a lot of precious time each day trawling through all the pages on my job list to see if they've been assigned to anyone and then still don't really know for sure.
Many thanks,
Ann

As an update - I have the perfect example of the above problem.
I won a job, completed it, have been paid and feedback has been given on both sides, but the job is still up as 'Open for Proposals'. Two other sellers are still waiting to find out if they're going to get the job or not - it's not fair to leave people hanging like that if the buyer forgets to sign off the job.
The buyer side of the system should be set up so that each step has to be completed in order before progress is allowed to the next one. Either that or at least the 'Completed' flag should go up on the job when it's been paid for or feedback given.
