How long does the client have to pay me?

I have finished a project and have yet to be paid. I requested payout two days ago and my employer has not added the rest of the funds or released payout. How long does my client have to release payout.

  requested payout , you mean raised invoice ?
  If money is already in escrow , and you raised invoice buyer needs to pay it or reject it within 7-15 days otherwise it will be automatically paid.

  You need to send a deposit request for the rest of the funds, once deposit accepted you will raise another invoice.
