Problems with Zero Service Fee Invitation
Hi, I am hoping someone can help me, I'm desperate! I am new to People Per Hour. I have a freelance client who I transcribe a monthly interview for and I asked him if we could put the work through People Per Hour so that I can build up my ratings.
I invited him, using his name and email address and he accepted this invite. However, his account subsequently showed up with my own name, although a different location and rate per hour (see photo attached). I did the work but now can't invoice him as it would look like I was invoicing and then receiving feedback from myself. I am also being charged the service fee. I already charge well below the market rate for this particular job due to how long it takes and I can't afford to lose another £6 in charges, it's just not worth it.
I've emailed customer support 3 times but their responses have not fixed the problem. They have told me that we have both registered with the same details but I don't see how that is possible.
I would just delete it but the £30 is already in escrow.
Please can anyone help? Thank you in advance

Hey Alexandra
Which form did you ask him to fill in? This is the one you should be using:
http://www.peopleperhour.com/invitation/zeroFill in his details and then send it to him! That's the best way to do it.

Hello Sabrina, thank you for replying, I appreciate it. I did indeed invite him using that form. In the end we have to had to cancel the incorrect profile (we both kept getting conflicting instructions from the help desk but this is something we were both instructed to do). We have set up a new account through the Zero invitation. However, the money in escrow from the incorrect account has not been refunded and customer services is taking forever to sort it out. To be honest, I'm just about ready to chuck PPH in and conduct my freelance work independently! Need my £30 though before I do anything drastic. To be frank, this is currently the worst customer service experience I have ever had. On average it seems to take a week to respond to questions and issues and then it turns out that they have misunderstood the question and given the wrong solution. Sorry for the rant!
