how long will escrow keep my deposit?

hello,

my seller said that he is unavailable in few weeks after me accepting his proposal,

I said to him that I can wait until he finish his problem, my question is how long (max) can escrow keep my money? because I have deposit half of (job) money into escrow.

Will escrow release my deposit before I accept his job? thanks

  Hi Yang,

  Many thanks for your message. Escrow will keep your money for 30 days. At which point, it will ask your seller to make an update in the workstream. If no update is given at all up to 7 days later, then after a few reminders, the money in escrow will be automatically refunded to you.

  this is my first time using this platform, just want to make sure, 

  does "update" means he finish his job and me "accept" his job? or only he "update" and will make escrow release money to him?

  If I as a freelancer finish my client's job. How long will their money be kept in escrow? 1 day or when my client approves the work and it is sent to my PeoplePerHour account for withdrawal?

  Hello My client marked project as complete so when i will get my money in my account it holding in escrow account when it going to release money from escrow
