How do I close a project and pay the freelancer?

  yes...how the heck do I close my project so my VA can get paid, I cant belive it this hard to find the button. It should be in plain site.

  oh man...after 20 mins I figured it out

  you click the gear icon and if it has "mark as in progress" click that. Then in the same place then "Mark as complete" appears. Not sure why but I hope that helps anyone the lands here.

  Still no serious changes to the broken payment experience. Not obvious how you pay a freelancer for their work. Beyond bad practice, this broken user flow is driving me to put more assignments on UPWORK. Publish the protocols for paying freelancers ASAP, with no excuses. Do it immediately.

  I agree this workflow is terrible. I just wanted to get my freelancer paid for their hard work, but marking the job as complete doesn't tell you if the funds have been released or anything! I'm heading back to Upwork and Fiverr!
