About the sell process

Hey guys. I ´m here writing about something that your team already gave me great recommendations but they kindly asked me to write it here, so, here I am:

"Hey guys!

First fo all, thanks for still bringing us one of the best freelancers sites on the web, I really love working in PPH, it was my first site and I got my first job here, so thanks for everything. I know keeping alive a platform like this is a hard work.

I just want to post something that I think about the sell process and I know is not your fault at all but the clients fault -maybe-.

So many times I write on proposals, send samples or even make creative ways to get the clients attention and there´s a lot of times that the clients just dissapear, they don´t see the proposal, they don´t write comments, they don´t reject it, they just do nothing and the worst thing in this job is not to get feedback (positive or negative), either way we are losing our proposal credits spending them into nothing.

I´m no talking about get the positive answer of a client (That depends on me), I´m talking about at least receive the "rejected proposal message", the notifications that the offer was closed, the answers on the comments or something that could say that the client still alive.

Also one day I was preparing a proposal for a client who said "30 days for the proposal" and I took about 2 hours to make my proposal (I´m not a robot who sends the same copy/paste proposal to everybody) after the 2 hours the job was closed.....????

As I said, I know this is not on your hands but I just want to comment this to see if you guys could come up with an idea or maybe a possible solution. I know this is not just happening to me because every job with messages in the message board has no answers at all, and I´m talking about a lot of people asking things on the message board.

Last month I spent all my proposal credits in jobs and nobody answer, nobody saw it, nobody do nothing, no reject it, no approval, no closing project, no notifications if other designer get the job, no nothing, just like the client wasn´t there anymore and the job offers just stay there open with no activity from the client at all.

Hello.

In my opinion, this is a post that should be of interest for all freelancers. I do not believe that there is someone who has not several times experienced what our colleague has so well described. But the thing was posted a month ago and so far there is no sign of support.

I would like to suggest here that a mechanism for eliminating bad buyers be implemented. I am referring to buyers who have a very low "jobs awarded" rate, below 50%, for example. I have seen buyers with "jobs awarded" rates within the range of 20 - 30%. I believe this is an indication that the buyer is making business outside PPH, violating the terms of use of the platform. In such cases, an investigation would still be needed to find out the participation of the sellers who accept or, perhaps, stimulate this type of violation.
