Hi, I am trying to send a proposal, but the system requested to me that I have to make a deposit; I am a freelancer, I understand  that the buyer should deposit the money, not the seller.

  Hi Nelson,

  This is the box where you request how much deposit you'd like the buyer to pay up front if they choose you for the work.

  May be deposit to feature your profile/proposal ? it's optional and not required.

  Hi. I have a job on offer for 70.00 and I have chosen a buyer and paid the money into an escrow account. The buyer requested a deposit of 17.50 which I paid. Does this mean I paid them $17.50 and I will have to release the payment of 70.00 or is the deposit, taken out of the original amount?

  You can check what is deposited from the original amount in the same workstream escrow.

  I'm  getting this message when I'm sending the proposal.
  
  For your protection, we require the Deposit for this Job to be at least $30 which is equivalent to 1 hours of work

  you are asking the client to deposit 100% of the amount you bid, in escrow before starting work that's all.

  Is there an option that I say no deposit is required? or there must be some deposit amount without which we cannot send the proposal. For information I let you know I am a freelancer.

  Abdul, no option to do it...., you can use the clarification board to ask questions

  also you can edit you proposal later, either increase or decrease the quote.
