My client has been charged more than what my invoice reflects

For an invoice (#573343-23) of £20 my client has been charged £21.08. We've worked many times together and this never happened before. They pay through Paypal and Paypal just confirmed they didn't charge more, that the payment order's amount comes from PPH. I am the one who paid the commission in this transaction; that £1.08 is not broken down anywhere and my client's accounting department need an answer to this. Can you please advise on what happened here?

  Did you get a reply? I have the same issue and my accountant wants to know why the bank statement and the invoice don't tally!

  Hi Joanna (replying to comment): The reply I got was that the client (whoever paying) is the one that has to contact PPH, not me. My client did get a reply and I believe it was something like Paypal commission or something like that... Sorry, I don't have any other details but I know it was resolved. Good luck!
