Deposit withdrawal

Hi there,

I produced three logo designs for a client recently. I then asked them to chose from these logos and the one he selects I can offer him redesigns.

When I sent through the concepts, he selected his favourite saying he really liked the concept and gave me some small amendments to make. I made these amendments for him with a lot more redesigns to give him good choice. He then decided having spoken to more of his team he wanted to scrap the idea and go with another.

This was not ideal but I worked on another and he became very rude, disrespecting my designs, totally different from his original positive comments.

He has now decided he does not want to work with me and wants the deposit back.

I feel as though he has just used me. I have given him some high quality logo designs, which in his comments he said he likes, now he has decided he wants to take these ideas, free of charge. Please let me know how to go about this, as I am entitled to my deposit.
