Request for Fair Resolution: Dispute on Job #4429876 (Digital Marketing in Italy)
Job Headline: Digital marketing in Italy
Job ID: 4429876
Hello PPH Support Team,
I am reaching out regarding a dispute with my client for the above-mentioned job. The total project value was €1060.
Here is the situation in detail:
1. Initial Agreement:
• At first, the buyer contacted me outside the marketplace for this project.
• Since the project was high-value and involved significant costs, I requested him to invite me through PeoplePerHour so that the payment would remain secure for both sides.
• He agreed, and we confirmed the total price of €1060. The buyer deposited €660 on PPH, with the remaining €400 to be deposited before the event on 22nd September 2025.
2. Work Completed:
• According to the buyer’s instructions, I designed and arranged 2 billboards (6ft x 6ft each) and 1 banner (12ft x 4ft).
• My two teammates traveled from Torino to Milan on the event day to execute the tasks. I can provide proof of their bus tickets.
• The billboards and banner were printed at a Milan print shop. I also have voucher/receipts as proof of printing costs.
3. Event Execution:
• My teammates reached the exact protest locations on time with all materials ready.
• Unfortunately, due to extremely heavy rain throughout the event, the tasks could not be fully completed exactly as planned.
• However, I have provided both photos and videos that clearly show:
My team was present at the locations.
The billboards and banner were prepared.
The severe weather conditions prevented perfect execution.
4. Financial Impact:
• I am based in Bangladesh and managed this project by coordinating with my trusted teammates in Italy.
• I sent €720 in advance to my two teammates in Torino for travel and arrangements.
• Despite my genuine efforts and financial investment, the buyer is now refusing to pay the remaining amount and has applied for a refund.
I want to emphasize that:
• I acted professionally and in good faith.
• The project was initially discussed outside the platform, but I specifically asked the buyer to bring it into PeoplePerHour to ensure payment security.
• I delivered the required materials and ensured my team’s presence in Milan.
• The only obstacle was the severe weather, which was beyond my control.
For now, I am attaching 4 photos/videos from the event (as per platform’s current attachment limit). If required, I am ready to provide all additional proof including bus tickets, vouchers, and receipts.
I kindly request PPH Support to review this case carefully, consider my evidence, and ensure that I am fairly compensated for the significant work and expenses already completed.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Best regards,
Oli Khan
